Our client specialises in commercial joinery, plastic fabrication and shop fitting solutions that revitalise a variety of retail, hospitality and interior office spaces. In the residential side of the business they specialise in creating beautiful bespoke kitchens. Their mission is to design, manufacture and install a quality fit-out/furnishings to their clients that will ‘wow’ everyone who walks through their door.
About the role:
Interpret architectural plans from clients and produce detailing models/drawings with site measurements.
Detailing of joinery items and nesting to the Joinery team and liaise with them regularly to run the projects through the factory.
Produce drawings for sign off and shop drawings.
Ongoing regular communication with clients, suppliers, joinery teams, shop foreman and other stakeholders regarding joinery items and projects.
Ordering drawing quantities of materials, hardware, bench tops etc.
Work within joinery teams to ensure projects leave the factory and are installed on time.
Quality control joinery work with the Foreman.
Meet all Health and Safety obligations.

About you:
2-3 years’ experience in joinery and cabinet making.
Experience/knowledge in the Cabinet Vision joinery package or similar (Microvellum).
Strong skillset to liaise with clients and suppliers and deliver on time frames.
Committed to best practice from the initial meeting right through to manufacturing, detailing, CNC machining, joinery and installation.
Able to pursue solutions and implement them in the detailing environment.
You’ll be an autonomous worker who also works well within a team.
Able to work in New Zealand with no visa restrictions.
