Investments Senior Operational Risk Analyst

Th is is an opportunity for an analyst at the top of their game to join the ACC Investments Risk function, supporting the Operational Risk Manager with the application of the Investments Risk Framework.
You’ll be working as part of the Investment Risk & Compliance team which acts as an independent risk control function for ACC Investments. Your role will ensure that the fund’s operational risk environment is effective and regularly reviewed to meet best practice requirements.
In this role you’ll get the opportunity to work with teams across the investment fund, leading risk reviews and playing a key role in shaping the risk framework of the fund. The role will also see you working closely with the wider risk and compliance team, supporting them with investment guideline compliance and market surveillance testing.
What we’re looking for from you to be successful in this role:
A background in Financial Markets with experience in an analytical role, preferably with a focus around operational risk or compliance. Strong understanding of investment products, systems and process for financial markets/funds management A lateral thinker with the ability and tenacity to investigate and understand the root cause of issues Ability to work collaboratively with staff from across the business, applying good judgement and making sound decisions to implement solutions. Experience with the application of risk management frameworks, standards and risk monitoring techniques. Solid data systems knowledge, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
