We are seeking an energetic Investment Sales and Relationship Manager to drive the ongoing success of our existing funds and future investment offerings.The ideal candidate will possess broad relationship management skills and have experience in a similar role with various clients.
This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who excels at building relationships and engaging a diverse range of investors, from retail clients to high-net-worth individuals and organisations.
Your ability to follow up with all leads is critical to your success.JOB DESCRIPTION: Investment Sales & Relationship ManagerAs an Investment Sales & Relationship Manager, you will be key in fostering sales growth and providing ongoing relationship management services for existing and new investors in RDNZ investment products, specifically in forestry and agricultural investments.
You will report directly to the General Manager of Investor Relationships at Roger Dickie (N.Z.)
Limited.Your role will focus on generating additional investment in new and existing forestry and farming investment products RDNZ offers.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining ongoing relationships with customers across various partnerships and fund investments, emphasising the delivery of a positive customer journey and promptly addressing investor inquiries.You will also assist in developing marketing communications, providing tailored customer reporting, and utilising the company's Client Relationship Management (CRM) software to keep client records current.This position is expected to be fulfilling for those with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, as there is ample opportunity to expand your knowledge, expertise, and career within the business across different functions and investments.A day in the life:Proactively drive new sales of RDNZ investment products by strategically leveraging the existing customer database.
Follow up diligently with all new leads, highlighting unique opportunities and identifying key areas for business expansion.Develop a diverse customer database while nurturing and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with business clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.Oversee the entire customer journey, guiding clients smoothly through both the sales process and the after-sales experience to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.Endeavour to answer all client queries within a timely fashion - seeking advice where applicableManage the RDNZ secondary market, ensuring that the RDNZ executive team is informed of any recurring themes or patterns regarding investors' motivations for selling so that strategies can be adapted accordingly.Collaborate in the creation and execution of both direct and indirect communication strategies.
This includes formulating effective marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance sales and attract new clients.Actively reach out to potential customers through cold calling, using persuasive communication skills to introduce RDNZ investment products and generate interest.Facilitate the swift resolution of issues documented in the RDNZ objection handling register, striving to maximise customer satisfaction and foster trust in our services.Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and desired outcomes within specified timelines while coordinating efforts with team members to ensure consistent performance and results.Supply management with insightful reports detailing customer needs, concerns, interests, competitive activities, and the potential for introducing new products and services that address market demands.Conduct thorough analyses of the territory and market potential, regularly tracking sales and status reports while staying informed about best practices and emerging promotional trends.Key Requirements:A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.An interest in or experience with forestry or farming practices is advantageous but not essential.A Level 5 Financial Services Certificate (Investments) is advantageous but not required.Must be a self-starter with a strong curiosity to help create customer value, demonstrating the ability to ask open-ended questions and listen actively.Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential.Excellent written and spoken business English is required.Confidence in interacting with others is necessary.Be a team player.Why Join Us?At RDNZ, we provide access to forestry and farming investments and help New Zealanders secure their futures.
