About the opportunity (guidelines)
An opportunity has become available as an Inventory Specialist for our Kauri and Maungaturoto sites.As an integral member of NZM Stores and supporting the Maintenance Team you’ll ensure they have the right parts available to do their job at the right time, while supervising the stores team that support and enable these sites. You’ll be responsible for providing first line support to the workshop team through the timely provision of parts and maintenance of inventory records using ERP systems.Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of three team members across both sites and remotely
Inventory reporting to meet customer and business demands
Implementing, deploying and training on improved inventory processes to optimise inventory and deliver value.
Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships
Ordering and returning of parts as requested
Receiving and unloading of freight
Setting up, maintaining and stocktaking the store
About you (guidelines)
To be successful in this role you will be a go-getter, have the ability to work independently and have the drive to make things happen! You will have previously demonstrated experience in ERP systems, accuracy with figures and attention to detail.You will also have:
SAP and intermediate MS Excel experience
Excellent communication skills
Inventory management experience
Hazardous substance knowledge
Full NZ drivers Licence
F endorsement and OSH certificate would be an advantage
