About the Role
As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will:
* Perform a range of interventional procedures,
including elective and acute angioplasty and complex coronary interventions.
* Participate in the acute management of
cardiovascular emergencies and complex cases.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary patient care,
working closely with cardiothoracic surgery, radiology, and intensive care
teams.
* Provide clinical leadership and training to
junior doctors and allied health professionals.
* Engage in ongoing research and quality
improvement initiatives.
* Participate in an on-call roster as part of a
dedicated team.About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of
Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent specialist qualification.
* Registration (or eligibility for registration)
with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a specialist in cardiology.
* Extensive experience in interventional
cardiology, including proficiency in complex coronary interventions.
* A strong commitment to patient-centred care,
clinical excellence, and teamwork.
