International Assistant Finance Manager

With new offices in Christchurch New Zealand, they are now on the lookout for an International Assistant Finance Manager to join the team. Important to note ..
You will be working with a small energetic team, who enjoy socialising and spending time together inside and outside of work. The role will require you to travel, roughly 6 - 8 weeks of international travel will be expected per year. We are looking for somebody will thrive off the opportunity to work with this team who are goal orientated, hardworking, self-starters and passionate about what they do.
As theInternational Assistant Finance Manageryou will be handling the following:
Monitoring every aspect of the organisation's finances
Developing strategies for short and long term financial goals of the group
Submitting internal reports to Operations and the Board of directors
Evaluating international financial reporting packages to ensure consistency and accuracy
Ensuring all financial activity complies with local and national regulations
Maintaining and improve routines and standards within the International Finance Department
Providing support and leadership to the bookkeepers and chief accountants of the company
Performing Group audit
Managing budgets and forecasts
Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
Analysing the market and performance of competitors and report on key issues to management
We are ideally look for somebody with the following:
University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
International experience of consolidation and annual reporting
Knowledge and expertise in international finance and global economics
Experience working with an ERP system is a huge advantage
Ready to travel - roughly 8 weeks of international travel per year
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
