The Role
We are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join the team in our Sydney office on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be responsible for driving an internal communications strategy, with a heavy emphasis on employee engagement. You will provide trusted advice to the Executive Committee and deliver outstanding internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged and highly motivated to perform.
Key Responsibilities:Work with the General Manager, Marketing and Communications on overarching leadership and organisational priorities.
Execute an internal communications strategy, write and produce content for internal communications channels and optimise supporting processes.
Work closely with the Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team to establish appropriate channels of communication and appropriate messaging.
Work with the CEOs office to promote and support staff engagement activities.
Support ongoing project portfolio, guiding staff through organisational change working along with Change Manager and HR.
System owner and content manager of AICDs intranet.
Support internal stakeholders with communications plans and campaign support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
10 years experience in writing and delivering internal communication strategies in a corporate environment.
Experience influencing, advising and liaising with senior executives, steering committees and CEO regarding internal communication channels and appropriate messaging for employee engagement.
Experience in employee engagement and change communications. Experience in communicating change and supporting change agents in implementing organisational change.
Highly developed time management and organisation skills.
Achievement-oriented and able to work autonomously.
Ability to maintain a consistent and strict level of confidentiality at all times.
Strong relationship building skills.
