The team is made up of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.The RoleAs an Intermediate - Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial advice, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
You will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, manage your own client relationships, and play an integral role in the success of the firm's clients.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client baseReview and manage client portfolios, offering proactive adviceEnsure compliance with New Zealand tax laws and accounting standardsAssist with management reporting, budgeting, and forecastingMentor and develop junior team membersBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsSkills & Experience:CA-qualified (or near completion) with 2+ years' experience in an accounting practiceStrong knowledge of New Zealand accounting and tax regulationsExperience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and management reportsProficient in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, etc.
