Job Opportunity: Process EngineerThis is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.The remuneration range for this role is $83,095 - $117,312 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.The opportunityAs a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and process advice to optimise the process reliability for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants managed by the Treatment & Control Systems Group.You will:Provide process advice enabling water from source to tap and drain to receiving environment meets identified quantity and quality standards.Deliver recommendations that result in the optimisation of the treatment plant processes to manage the use of resources in a sustainable way.Ensure equipment and systems are reliable and operating at maximum efficiency.Guarantee that regular process reviews and asset condition assessments and programmes are conducted.About youTo be successful in this role you will bring:A tertiary qualification in a relevant subject area such as Chemical / Water Engineering or other related science / engineering discipline.At least 2 years experience in process engineering, ideally in the water and wastewater sector.Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment and network processes.Strong organisational expertise with the ability to plan and monitor progress.Excellent time management skills with the prowess to prioritise and manage your workload.BenefitsAt Wellington Water, our purpose extends beyond delivering great water services for the region; we foster a thriving community, support a diverse workforce, and offer supportive development opportunities.
