About the role:
You will be based in our vibrant Auckland, Newmarket office.
You will be part of a dynamic team working closely with our local clients to deliver projects whilst enjoying the variety of project work Auckland offers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional engineer with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects and working collaboratively with our clients delivering locally whilst working with colleagues in remote offices.
You will join a team that works on industrial and infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across New Zealand and the wider Asia Pacific region.
You will work with our Principal Engineers and Group Managers to support and grow the business.

Intermediate Electrical Engineer - Auckland
Qualifications:
What you need to bring:
Our preferred candidate for this role will have proven technical experience in diverse aspects of Electrical Engineering for infrastructure projects with a strong focus on water.
You will be a people person, with exceptional communication skills and the technical understanding in your discipline.
You will understand Electrical CAD software requirements.
You will be experienced dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
You will have strong client facing skills and experience.
In this exciting position, your own self-management skills will be as important as your technical and project management ones. You will need to be able to prioritise workloads whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with our clients' and colleague's both locally and across the broader Stantec team.
Key requirements are a BE Electrical or equivalent, plus a minimum of 6 years professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
