About the Role
We are looking for a superstar accountant to join our team! The role will be within our business services division. You will be responsible for the delivery of tax compliance services and support the business owner in delivering high quality business advisory services and tax advice to our clients. There will also be a requirement to assist and manage our junior accountant and have direct communication and liaison with all our clients.
You will be supported by the entire team and provided with top quality training to ensure you continue to improve in your technical and non-technical skills.
This will be an 8 month contract to cover maternity leave; with a view to extending depending on the growing needs of the business. We are open to accommodating both full-time and part-time requirements, so please specify your needs in your application.
Skills / Experience Required
2 - 4 years experience in business services;
Experience preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entities;
Technically competent with complex tax matters such as Division 7A, Small Business Concessions and FBT;
Ideally you will have your CA or CPA qualification;
Experience working in Xero and other cloud based software;
Experience with managing staff;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident to communicate with clients; and
Tech savvy and the willingness to embrace and recommend changes that will improve the business!
Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
