As an Intermediate Accountant, you'll be an essential part of the team, helping clients navigate their accounting needs while contributing to the firm's growth and success.Key Responsibilities:Prepare Financial Statements, Tax Returns, and other critical financial reports for a diverse client baseManage and submit GST, FBT, PAYE, and other IRD returns in a timely mannerAssist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis for clientsCollaborate with senior accountants and contribute to projects aimed at streamlining processes and improving firm efficiencyTo be successful in the role you will have:2+ years of accounting experience (preferably in public practice)Previous experience within a New Zealand CA firm, operating at a Junior or Intermediate levelA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldSkilled in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and financial analysisProficient with Microsoft Excel (advanced) and ideally XeroExcellent communication skillsA proactive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a collaborative environmentPositive, can-do attitudeBenefits: Work-Life Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid work model that allows you to balance your personal and professional life in Queenstown.
