About the firm
Established around 20 years ago, this two Director CA accounting firm has experienced steady growth and is now looking for two staff members to join the team. The firm is based in Paddington, they have 15 staff and specialise in business services and tax. The firm offer compliance and advisory services to a wide range of small businesses.
Practice software - MYOB AE;
CA firm;
Business services and SMSF;
Regular social events - Christmas, EOFY, Melbourne Cup and monthly drinks on the back deck;
Annual external training budget including CA fees paid and CA masterclass;
Paperless office; and
Career progression opportunities including the opportunity to progress to equity Director in the future.

About the role
As an intermediate accountant, your focus will be both compliance and advisory for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals. Whilst the firm offer SMSF compliance and advisory services, they have a dedicated accountant for this.
Prepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS;
Buddy a graduate accountant;
Assist with tax research;
Regularly sit in on client meetings; and
Upskill your knowledge in value-add advisory.

Skills and experience required
Three years experience in business services compliance;
Ideally you will have commenced your CA or CPA;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Outstanding attention to detail; and
The drive and enthusiasm to continuously learn.
