We are Mobi2Go and we were homegrown here in Wellington. Our Headquarters remains here and we have regional offices in Melbourne and Toronto. We raised Series A last year and spent 2019 building new product offerings that we?re busy releasing into the wild. Requirements
We?re on the hunt for a hungry integrations developer to join our small, but perfectly formed Product and Engineering crew. Reporting to our Director of Engineering, on a day to day basis you would build, manage and maintain the front end of the Mobi2Go platform. Success means that it is well executed, fast and functional for our customers.
We start our day with a standup and we showcase our work at the end of the sprint to the whole company. We do retro?s so that we can sharpen our approach to delivery. We support each other with peer code reviews, coaching and training and rotating dev support rosters.
We document our work to help others (and ourselves!) understand. We?re all about test automation so that we can move faster.
We believe that humour is good for the soul, on a personal level, and we don?t take ourselves too seriously.
What are we looking for?
?Teamwork makes the dreamwork? is a sentiment that you can comfortably embrace (even if the actual phrase may make you cringe a little)! We communicate (written and verbal) internally and externally with teammates and customers. You need to be able to foster good relationships through great communication (which may include simplifying tech speak for non tech peeps and Slacking like a champ). We value curiosity and humility. You ?fill your cup? through constant learning. You look for opportunities to grow your skills and expand your techniques. You look around corners with a healthy dose of pragmatism.
From a tech perspective, you have senior level experience in software product development and systems integration. You strongly value test driven development and test automation, and you\'ve ideally worked with PHP 7.x and frameworks like Symfony. You have a firm understanding of the full infrastructure stack including Linux, MySQL (or other SQL RDBMS), AWS, Jenkins (or other CI platform) and Git. You will have successfully implemented multiple integrations with external systems, ideally using multiple API styles (REST, SOAP, RPC, etc.) Prior experience with high-volume eCommerce platforms (and billing and payment systems in particular) and with multiple programming languages (like Python, Go, Java, C# or JavaScript) would be a healthy plus.
