Child, Adolescent and Family Services (CAFS) Hawkes Bay is looking for an experienced and passionate clinician (Allied Health or Nurse) to take the role of Intake & Triage Coordinator for our service.
As an Intake & Triage Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all communications and referrals to CAFS i.e. single point of entry. You will be responsible for processing, triaging and co-ordinating referrals and ensure that referrals are processed timely alongside the Associate Clinical Nurse Manager. With the support of the Associate Clinical Nurse Manager, you will oversee the whole Intake & Triage process for CAFS. As a clinician you will have an opportunity to see patients particularly those that require or will benefit from a single session.

We are seeking a senior clinician with previous experience in CAMHS services, Intake & Triage and leadership who is highly motivated to join our team. The post requires specialist skills and knowledge that are demanded within a child and adolescent mental health setting.
You need to have an advanced understanding of child and adolescent mental health together with expert awareness of the dynamics and treatment opportunities and modalities. You will need to be familiar with other services in the community that provide interventions to children with mental health challenges.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must along with a good sense of humour and full driver's licence.
