Installer - Outdoor Shade Systems

Lidgard Shades & Sails is a leading company in the Shade Industry of the greater Auckland region, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of shade and weather structures and sails.
Our Company is looking to employ a person in a full-time installation role which requires the following attributes:
*Must be competent using ladders and working at heights
*Must be competent and have experience using power tools
*Good communicator who can work with initiative and minimal supervision
*Capable of reading basis building plans
*Be physically fit and agile
*Capable of working up to 40-50hrs a week in peak times.
*Be a good TEAM player
*Be responsible, honest, neat and tidy
*Have a responsible attitude towards workplace safety
*Current driver's license
*Right to work in New Zealand
Reporting directly to our Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
*Installation of shade sails, outdoor blinds systems of all types, retractable and fixed frame awnings and canopies
*Installation of retractable roofing systems
*Installation of steel columns, steel fixings and brackets
*Excavation and concreting of footings
*Measuring of shade sails and structures
*General labour duties
While industry experience would be a benefit, the role also suits those with more general building knowledge and are interested in a new career opportunity.
Applicant must have reliable transport to travel to our factory in Wairau Valley.
On site training will be provided.
Hourly rate will be subject to level of prior experience and existing skillset.
