The location for this role can be based in Auckland or Whangarei, based on the right candidate.The role:As an Insights Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting our Legal, Risk, and Assurance functions.
This is a data-focused role where your knack for extracting insights will help identify and manage risks, monitor compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and provide high-impact analysis that informs decisions at the highest level - including reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee.Your responsibilities will include:Gathering and analysing data from a variety of risk and compliance sourcesDeveloping insightful reports and dashboards to highlight key trends and metricsSupporting process improvement initiatives across risk and assurancePartnering with teams to deliver meaningful insights and support data-driven decisionsAbout you:We're after someone who can transform data into insights to enable better, safer and smarter decisions across our organisation: You will:Have 2-4 years' experience in a data analyst, risk, compliance, or similar roleBring strong analytical and data storytelling skills, ideally in risk or legal contextsBe proficient with tools like Excel and Power BIHave a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, economics, finance, or riskBe able to build strong working relationships and communicate insights to a non-technical audienceThrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with plenty of autonomyWhy Northpower?Northpower, you'll join a people-focused business where safety, collaboration, and integrity matter.
