Corporate Social Outcomes (CSO) design and deliver end-to-end programmes that support individuals into employment within Downer.Downer Corporate Social Outcomes are offering a rare opportunity for a practitioner to join our national award winning In-Work Success programme as an In-Work Success Advisor. This is currently a 20-hour position and as our In-Work Success programme grows, so too could the hours.About the roleReporting to the In-Work Success Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and connecting with individuals who, as employees, may benefit from initial transition to work support.Be part of the CSO programmes and facilitate workshops that support the complete success of the programme participants.Connect with programme participants and identify those that may benefit from in-work success support.Promote inclusion of workplace transition and in-work success skills in Downer recruitment and induction programmesYou’ll then work with the individuals and their managers to facilitate individual support, matched to individual needs. Followed by keeping in regular contact, for up to 12 months, with individual employees involved with In-Work Success, to ascertain progress against support needs and facilitate access to relevant community based services.About youYou’ll be a high achiever who has considerable experience of successfully working with individuals who are often dealing with multiple complex challenges in their lives.Alongside your experience – you will be able to demonstrate:A flexible, adaptable, self-management approach to your work.A proven positive solution facilitation approach with strong focus on attention to detailExcellent communication skills both written and verbalKnowledge and respect of M?ori tikangaWe are based at Kerrs Road in Wiri, Auckland so having your own transport is essential, we have plenty of free parking which is a real plus. A full and clean driver’s licence is a must.
