In this role as Global Front-end Developer/Designer you will be responsible for digital innovation and front-end development of brand content across key digital touchpoints including icebreaker.com. You will work with a variety of stakeholders and third-party solution providers to deliver premium online user experiences, leveraging new techniques and user insights to increase brand affinity and repeat visits.
You may currently be freelancing and want some work mates; maybe you own your own business and want a “normal” job; you could be a front-end designer with coding skills? Or you may be some other random person who fits the bill. It is unique opportunity in a 12-month fixed term contract.
Who you are:
3+ years’ experience and a successful track record working as a Front-end Developer/Designer.
Solid knowledge of CSS, Sass, Grunt/Gulp, Github/Bitbucket, HTML/HTML5, javascript & jQuery/AJAX.
Competent using HTML tables & inline CSS plus a knowledge of the quirks of the various email clients.
Experience using the Litmus testing environment (or similar) to ensure HTML works across most email clients.
Ability to build quick working prototypes and mock-ups for testing concepts.
Experience with responsive design and development.
Familiar with Adobe CS and related software.
Understanding of UX principles and implications.
