Available for an immediate start, we have a great opportunity for an HVAC whiz! Bring your ‘hands on’ experience and join our busy team working on the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products.
About this great opportunity
Working alongside our Manufacturing Manager, you’ll be an important part of our production team working on the following daily tasks:
Plan, fabricate, assemble, install and repair metal parts, equipment and products; utilising a knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, and machining techniques.
Read blueprints and product specifications for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products
Assist in the operating of soldering and welding equipment and fabricating machines
Shape metal using hand tools
Who we are looking for:
You will have the following attributes:
A minimum of six months' sheet metal fabrication experience
Experience using hand and power tools
A New Zealand Business Diploma, relevant degree and/or trade qualification (preferable
A current and clean NZ drivers licence
Sound knowledge of Health and Safety practices
Along with a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic, you’ll enjoy being part of a great team.
