Job Description

The position ofHuman Resources Coordinatorpresents an exciting opportunity for a reliable and conscientious individual who has experience working in a fast paced, hands on, technical environment in a role that is focused on providing HR and payroll related support to key business leaders.
Primarily reporting into our Food and Water Business Line in New Zealand, and functionally to the HR Director – Australia New Zealand, the role will work with key internal stakeholders (particularly the Business Unit Managers) and has the following key responsibilities:
Confidential HR Administration, including contract preparation, recruitment activities and on-boarding/induction.
HR/payroll administrative and logistical requirements, including handling time and attendance data and coordinating reports with our payroll team.
Support management with day-to-day HR matters, such as performance management administration, employee communications, employee life-cycle matters and other related activities.
Contribute and play a leading role in the planning and coordination of allocated HR projects and HR process improvement initiatives.
Provide support for various other business functions as required from time to time, such as marketing/sales, operational projects, meeting coordination, document control, building/facility management, tender documentation, lean projects etc.
Provide ad-hoc and project support for other administrative, project and operational matters to senior business leaders.
Qualifications

As an important role within Eurofins, the following selection criteria are essential:
Experience in a similar Human Resources position, and/or experience in a HR administrative support role will be an advantage.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to accurately and reliably prepare key business and employment documentation. Accuracy and attention to detail are a fundamental requirement of this position.
Good knowledge of NZ employment legislation and obligations will be an advantage.
Formal Tertiary Qualifications (E.g. Human Resources, Business Administration, Science, Engineering), or candidates currently studying, will be an advantage.
Experience in technical environments, will be an advantage.
Experience in project management, will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of standard office applications; especially MS Word and MS Excel.
Experience with Time Clock Plus will be an advantage.
Additional Information

The position is a full time role, based in Auckland, New Zealand.
The position is only open to candidates that currently have working rights in New Zealand.
