Fixed-term, full-time (parental leave cover 16/03/2020 - 16/04/2021) Kapiti Coast District Council delivers services across a wide range of activities. The Organisational Development team directly supports the Chief Executive by ensuring the organisation is well positioned with appropriately skilled and experienced staff capable of delivering consistent effective and quality services.
Working alongside managers and team leaders, this role provides an excellent opportunity to proactively and innovatively address and resolve HR issues through providing high quality HR service delivery which includes a wide range of hands-on operational support services.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and want to be part of a team contributing to making a real difference in our organisation and our community. You will demonstrate at least three years experience providing HR service delivery in the areas of recruitment and selection, performance management and employee relations. Excellent relationship management and the ability to influence are essential as you will be providing sound advice and coaching across a range of HR areas to our internal customers.
