This is a valuesbased business that contributes to the wider NZ community and genuinely make a difference through the services they provide You will join a closeknit leadership team with a commercial and family feel that will allow you to take high ownership and drive the people and culture strategy for the business A great blend of handson operational partnering and strategic influence these roles do not come along often and we expect high interest About the Role Partnering closely with the business the HR Manager will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and frontline leaders to design and deliver HR initiatives to support business outcomes Promoting the company s values you will work to drive performance through coaching and developing line manager capabilities Reporting into the CEO you will support with all generalist HR duties including but not limited to Employee Relations case management Learning and Development Training Organisational Design Compliance Coaching and advising key stakeholders on HR initiatives project support and promoting continuous improvement With the ability to work effectively within a complex environment you will work to build strong relationships across the business This is an exciting time to join the business as it continues its evolution becoming a successful commercial business This role will be critical in helping facilitate the transition while retaining the positive inclusive corporate culture Working closely with a small team to create the HR infrastructure to support the business in addition to strong HR Management experience successful candidates will have demonstrated a handson approach with the enthusiasm to work collaboratively You will have a proven track record of excellent stakeholder management and strong business acumen Responsibilities Encourage a culture of trust innovation and customer focus from all stakeholders Provide uptodate market trends on new legislation and initiatives including regulatory professional and legislative changes that could impact the business Champion the employer brand ensuring culture and values are reflected Support and facilitate recruitment and selection through advice to managers in this regard Support and coach Managers to continue to develop their capabilities Provide advice regarding disciplinary performance and grievance Work to expand the Learning and Development program Collaborate in the development and implementation of an appropriate HRM system Requirements HR Management qualification Minimum of 3 years experience as a Human Resources Manager including knowledge and experience in employment law remuneration and benefits compensation organisational planning recruitment organisation development employee relations safety employee engagement and employee development Enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work independently as required Exceptional written and spoken communication skills Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team Rewards This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the business by providing support and encouragement through effective HR management You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package commensurate with your qualifications skills and experience You and will be provided access to flexibility and ongoing training within your role All applications will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality and managed personally throughout Please apply directly through SEEK or call Michelle Visser for a conversation in confidence on 021 300 546 Only applicants with the current right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role
