Are you a student who s currently studying Human Resources or organizational psychology We have an amazing opportunity for someone to gain Human Resources experience within a leading Membership Association Employers and Manufacturers Association EMA provides practical support and advice at the forefront of today s business environment Our services span across Advisory Services Advocacy Industry Relations Education and Training We help New Zealand business succeed We are currently on the lookout for a motivated intern with a desire to kickstart their career in Human Resources You will gain exposure right across the people and capability function providing you with the opportunity to apply learned knowledge and skills The internship opportunity is 23 days a week for a 45 month period offering flexibility to work around your busy schedule Our organisation needs a team player who can adopt and promote our core values and behaviours This will require someone who is reliable and selfmotivated with a positive can do attitude In this role you will be Drafting position descriptions and job advertisements Coordinating the recruitment process and screening of candidates Preparing employment contracts preemployment checks and onboarding documentation Maintaining accurate new hire and employee information Drafting policies Supporting with wellbeing initiatives Providing general HR administration support Located at our head office in New Market this internship will see you observing and shadowing the People Capability Manager an exciting opportunity to gain experience within a supportive vibrant and forwardthinking team environment We are passionate about what we do and more importantly enjoy being fun The Desired Candidate An undergraduate postgraduate student majoring in Human Resources or Industrial Organizational psychology Has an eye for detail Is capable of multitasking and thinking on their feet Possesses strong communication and organisational skills Has a proactive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills Has familiarity using MS Office Applications Sound like you Dont miss out apply Now
