Operations span across Vegetable, Pipfruit, Viticulture, Dairy, Export and Transport activities.The opportunityWe are looking for an experienced HR practitioner to join our team from mid-June 2024 to end of January 2025 (7 months), on a fixed-term fulltime basis to cover parental leave. You will work in partnership with the business, enabling us to develop and support our people to improve and refine the land we farm.This role is based out of our Hastings office and supports our diverse operations. Flexibility in the role is key, balancing operational requirements with good people practices; supporting our people to do their best work.What will you be doing?Reporting to our GM you will be providing our team with advice and support on HR policies and practices including employment relations, remuneration, employee engagement, employment agreements, employment legislation, change management, performance management, team development and management/staff development.You will be proactive in providing HR services to the business and building effective trusting relationships with all stakeholders.About You:At least three years of HR experience, including employment relations experienceTertiary qualification in a relevant field preferredAbility to build trust and rapport quicklyExperience providing coaching and advice at theStrong prioritisation and workload management skillsFamiliarity with New Zealand employment legislationExperience in Horticulture/Agriculture or FMCG environment (including working with RSE) preferred but not essentialClosing date: Wednesday 8 May 2024 at 5pm (unless filled prior).
