You’ll have a challenging and rewarding career in the hospitality industry.About the roleIn your role as Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Human Resources function and act as a point of contact to support HODs, Outlet Managers and Supervisors in areas such as Training, Recruitment, H&S, ACC, Disciplinary Procedures, Immigration and any other activities as directed by the Director of Human Resources. You will assist with driving Global HR initiatives, company vision, values and our ‘Blue Energy’ culture at the hotel.Duties/responsibilitiesCoordinate and maintain all HR initiated programs within the hotelManage the online recruitment system Taleo, and assist department heads with recruitment activities including immigrationFacilitate learning and development and induction activities for team membersAssist in determining training requirements and support training initiativesPrepare all Monthly HR reports as requested by the Regional HR OfficeLead Health & Safety and assist in development and implementing plans, procedures and actions to ensure H&S policy objectives and targets are metSupport Human Resources activities, including work experience program, careers fairs and training materialsServe as the point of contact for Team Member issues, advising the Human Resources Director as appropriateKeep current with employment law, human resources policies, and training requirementsSkills/experiencePrevious experience in a Human Resources Advisory roleAbility to facilitate training programs to a Managerial levelExtensive background in team member engagement, recruitment and learning and development activitiesComputer literateExcellent leadership skills and exceptional communication and administration skillsDemonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on timeAbility to work productively despite multiple interruptionsDemonstrated trust and confidentiality as a member of the Human Resources TeamA passion and enthusiasm to be part of a winning teamA Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in Human ResourcesDemonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressureEOE/AA/Disabled/VeteransSchedule: Full-timeBrand : Hilton Hotels & ResortsJob Level: Team MemberJob: Human Resources
