House Officer - Obstetrics and Gynaecology Job DescriptionRole RequirementsRemunerationAvailable now, there are superb opportunities to work in New Zealand for physicians at PGY2 level and above. You will be eligible for these positions if you have completed Foundation year 1 in the UK or internship in Ireland or have three years experience working in a country with a comparable healthcare system to New Zealand.As a 2nd year House Officer or Senior House Officer you will have the opportunity to work in a largely rural area with high health needs and interesting pathology providing unrivalled clinical teaching and experience.Role Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will work under the delegated authority of a consultant and perform tasks and duties allocated to you.You will provide appropriate assessment , diagnosis and management of patients presenting to the hospitalMaintain up to date legible and accurate clinical recordsMaintain a high standard of communication with patients, patients' families and staff.Participate in on call rotas as requiredEssential Role RequirementsTo be successful in your application for this sought after role of House Officer, we will be looking for the following criteria in your profile and recent history:Eligible for provisional or full general registration with the Medical Council of New ZealandCompleted internship or foundation year 1 in UK or Ireland OR 3 years experience in a comparable health care system.Team working skillsClear communicationEmployee BenefitsIf appointed to a post as House Officer, you can expect the following remuneration and benefits:Salary paid in accordance with national pay scale for resident medical officersCosts of Medical Council of New Zealand registration refunded30 days paid annual leavesuperannuationuse of hospital gyma relocation allowance#J-18808-Ljbffr
