Bayswater Aukland Sea Front Hotel About the business and the role Our extraordinary sea front hotel is our exciting 4 property on Bayswater Auckland which incorporates bespoke design and stunning ocean views The hotel operates 33 rooms 8 employees We understand that our people are our greatest asset We strive to retain develop and reward passionate and successorientated professionals at all levels We are looking for someone who shares our passion for travel New Zealand and creating amazing experiences for our customers Job tasks and responsibilities This role incorporates the entire management and running of sea front hotel suites with complete accountability for guest services staff management and partner agent relationships Duties include Managing the Hotel operations comprising of many areas including Front Office Maintenance Rooms etc Managing costs to ensure budgets are met and revenue is growing without compromising on quality or service levels Developing a high performing team through leading by example training coaching and performance managing employees Fulfillment of reporting and administration requirements Taking ownership and accountability of the entire hotel operation pushing new strategies and ideas that will result in improved profits improved customer service and an improved product offering Skills and experience The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful accommodation management with at least 5 years experience in a similar hotel leadership position Skills required include Outstanding people management skills Ability to work at a high level with property management systems OTAs and business reporting Knowledge of New Zealand laws and regulations impacting operations and staff High emotional intelligence Superior leadership and organizational skills Advanced business acumen Strong financial knowledge including budgeting and forecasting Friendly engaging presence with a passion for New Zealand Job benefits and perks Our sea front hotel offer a fantastic range of perks including visiting at our other companies or vineyard friends family discounts in addition to working alongside a passionate customerfocused hotel proud team How to Apply If you believe you have the drive and skills to succeed in this role please click the Apply Now button We thank you in advance for your interest in this position or any other positions in the company however only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview We wish to advise that other positions such as Hotel Receptionist Chef Food Server Guest Service Associate Housekeeper Maintenance Worker etc continue to be recruited We look forward to hearing from you
