Looking for an opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of Aotearoa?
Ngai Tahu Tourism is one of the largest tourism operators in Aotearoa. We currently host more than one million manuhiri (visitors) a year across our 13 iconic businesses, with a fourteenth, the All Blacks Experience, due to open in 2020.
We're on the hunt for an experienced Horse Trek Guide to join our team on a fixed-term basis. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to share their passion for horses with our manuhiri (visitors). This role will be responsible for delivering a safe and informative horse-riding experience to our manuhiri (visitors) while maintaining the horses' health and equipment to best practice standard.
Dart Stables has been offering manuhiri (visitors) the opportunity to explore the Glenorchy area for over 20 years and has gained a well-earned reputation for providing memorable horse riding in this stunning part of Aotearoa. With knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, Dart Stables is able to provide great horse riding and treks for all levels of rider.
We take great pride in warmly welcoming manuhiri (visitors) to our experiences. Manaakitanga (hospitality) is one of the core values that drives the way we do business. As hosts, we care for our customers and our team as our own whanau.
We offer not only a unique experience for visitors, but also an awesome place to work.
This is a fixed term position, based in Glenorchy.
A little bit about you
We're after someone who can:
Deliver a safe and informative horse riding experience to our manuhiri (visitors)
Work well in a team
Keep cool under pressure
Work shifts on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Is open to learning about ngai tahu culture and stories
Anything could happen in a day - and we need someone who isn't afraid of a long and varied to-do list!
