We currently have a fantasticopportunity for an experienced Buyer to join our Home team. Reporting to the GMHome, this role has a variety of responsibilities across the Home brand, assistingto coordinate seasonal ranges, make appropriate buying decisions and managingbudgets effectively and profitably. This role requires strategic thinking and meticulousattention to detail. An extensive background in homeware buying is essential,along with an excellent eye for trend and a creative flair across all homecategories.
To be successful in thisposition, you will use your advanced knowledge and experience to identify opportunitiesthat grow our Home and Gift categories. You will contribute effectively to the long-term strategy and deliverthe right product at the right time to satisfy our customer. On top of this youwill be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with local andinternational suppliers and buyers alike. Excellent relationship skills,advanced negotiation abilities, high levels of judgement and a passion tosucceed in a driven team environment are essential.
Is this you?
• 5years' or more buying experience in the Home and Gift Industry
• Extensivecurrent knowledge of home textiles, decor and gifts
• Provenexperience in supplier negotiations
• Intermediatecomputer literacy in Microsoft Office applications especially excel
