About the role
Our dedicated teams in our Midland Cluster are looking for experienced, caring Home Support Workers to join them in providing 'squeaky clean' service and empathetic care to our residents.
On offer are 10 casual opportunities, working as and when required. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is essential. Ability to work across multiple sites is essential.
Skills and experience required
To be successful in this position you will have a high standard of cleanliness with attention to detail and take pride in a job well done. Ideally you will have previous experience as a caregiver for the elderly or, as an enrolled nurse. You will be reliable, honest and caring with the ability to work unsupervised as well as being a supportive member of the team. A current first aid certificate and an ACE or equivalent qualification would be advantageous. Reliable transport is essential.
You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering an outstanding service to our residents, so you will have empathy for the older person; excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate fashion; and an industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.
