We sat down with the Senior Partner (who this role would report to), to find out more information.

What are the key day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
* Engage with customers in a warm friendly manner, assisting with a variety of enquiries
* Through conversations with customers, identify their goals and propose BNZ products and solutions to achieve the best outcomes
* Assess and complete complex lending, such as for trusts, bridging loans and houses under construction; this may involve interpretation of financials for micro businesses, income verification, account conduct assessment, approval of detailed refer codes.
* Respond to needs of small business customers including business lending, overdrafts and business transactions..


What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?
For current BNZ employees it is expected to have current experience with home lending and have the relevant product/process knowledge gained through Banker 6 BCAP learning/or equivalent. You'll have previous personal and home lending experience as a minimum, and we're looking for someone that is passionate about taking their Banking career to the next level. This role gives you the opportunity to learn and develop your skills further in banking and we want to help you become one of our future lenders, and eventually establish yourself as the go to for complex lending requirements.
It goes without saying that you'll enjoy working with people and get a buzz out of helping customers, and your ability to problem solve and find solutions to exceed our customers' expectations will hold you in good stead for this role!
