Hoist Technician

OverviewSky Climber Access Solutions is searching for a Hoist Technician at the Randolph, MA location.This role is responsible for skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of motorized construction rental equipment, as well as the installation of equipment at customer sites.MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!

!QualificationsRequired to have a minimum of 3-5 years mechanical experienceMust be able to read and understand electric schematics and theory on how the systems workMust be proficient in using test equipment, meters & gaugesAbility to work at high elevationMust be able to lift 75+ lbsPrior rigging experience is a mustMust be able to read and write in EnglishAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust prioritize safetyPositive attitude and self-motivatedPre-employment testing will include:Drug TestBackground CheckPhysicalMotor Vehicle Record CheckHours – M-F – 7am – 5pm (Hours will vary by workload)Position is Hourly Non-ExemptResponsibilitiesOverhaul and repair hoist motorsDisassemble hoist motors, replace defective parts, and reassembleAbility to troubleshoot and repair electrical & pneumatic customer-owned equipmentPerform service calls as needed and may be required to complete repairs at job sitesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machineryResponsible for parts inventory accuracyFollow checklists to ensure all important parts are examinedProvide excellent customer service to customers, business partners, and employeesTroubleshoot, tear down, repair, reassemble, test, and perform maintenance on standard equipment and accessoriesPerform inspections in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendationsOther duties as assigned
