Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Mining And Plant Equipment

We are actively recruiting for new staff members to work on a productive and successful mine site across the South Island, where culture and people development are a central focus of management.
This is a full time permanent position working as a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic conducting maintenance though to component rebuilds on mining and earthworks equipment such as excavators, trucks, drill rigs, graders and dozers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Scheduled and reactive maintenance
• Inspection of plant
• Attending breakdowns
• Repairing and rebuilding of major components
• Computer diagnostics
• Reporting and recording
To be successful in in your application you will need:
• A relevant industry trade qualification
• Have New Zealand based experience
• Have experience conducing mechanical maintenance and repairs on earthworks or mining equipment
• Have a keen attitude
