A promising role has arisen for an Ag Mechanic – Field Service Technician to work for one of the leaders in the agricultural equipment industry in New Zealand. In this role you will play a key part in the on-going maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of specialised tractors, telehandlers and bailers, as well as a range of auxiliary agricultural equipment in the workshop and out in the field. To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven experience maintaining diesel equipment (preferably with an agricultural background) with trade certification while favourable is not essential.
Excellent diagnostic skills both using computer systems and visually.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong ability to be a self-starter and get the job done.
Understanding of electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems and a genuine understanding of urgency to deliver.
