ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Automotive Technician for Lockheed Martin you will be part of the wider Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Section (MRO) based in Waiouru. You will provide hands on repair, certification and maintenance on the vehicles and equipment that form a key part of the NZDF operational Vehicle Fleet, including LAV, Mercedes and MAN trucks.
ABOUT YOU:
Ideally you will have the following:
• Experienced Diesel Mechanic
• Trade qualified - National Certificate in Heavy Diesel Vehicles or equivalent qualification
• Full class 1 and 2
• A good team player who can communicates and help at all levels
• An ability to meet and maintain a Confidential NZ Security Clearance

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
YTo be eligible to work for Lockheed Martin NZ you must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. See minimum criteria below:
• most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided in this country continuously for at least the last five years, OR
• Citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last ten years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
