Housing & Homelessness Services (Community Services & Development) WISE is a Not-for-Profit community-based service, delivering employment and training initiatives in the Taranaki community via a team of fulltime and part time staff led by the General Manager. These initiatives include resource recovery, landcare, cleaning, home insulation and healthy homes. Our Healthy Homes Initiative is part of the national Healthy Homes Initiative where we work on making whanau homes healthier, warmer, drier and safer for pepi and tamariki. Our focus here is to work through referrals for pepi and tamariki whose health will be improved by our interventions. We are seeking a supervisor to help us deliver our Healthy Homes Initiative effectively and efficiently.The supervisor will be responsible for the management, planning, and implementation of the HHI initiative. You will be working and collaborating with various stakeholders such as funders, community partners, cooperate partners, health providers and internal stakeholders to address determinants of health and improve equity of health outcomes for Maori and Pasifika pepi and tamariki.If you are compassionate, empathetic, and passionate about providing healthy homes for tamariki this role is for you.We are seeking someone who has the following:Good organisational skills.Proven leadership experience. Good verbal and written communication skills.Good relationships building skills.Sound knowledge of estimation and costings of remediation jobs in homes.Cultural knowledge and experience of working with and for Maori and Pasifika Peoples.The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner.A Full NZ Drivers License.MUST pass all pre-employment checks.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
