This role is the ideal way for you to kick start your career in health, and we are inviting applications for fabulous Health Care Assistants to join us on a permanent, part-time basis.
We have several new positions available, and are flexible with the FTE/amount of appointed hours for the right candidate/s. All roles include rostered rotating shifts 24/7 - incl. night shifts.
About the role
The Nursing Resource Unit has the unique benefit of being able to offer you variety in your workplace. You would get to see the ins and outs of the whole hospital, where each day will be based in a different environment.
As Health Care Assistant you will be involved in the following:
Supporting our nurses and other members of the health care team
Patient supervision and/or movement
Clerical duties as required
Stock reconciliation
Ward maintenance
About you
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with previous health care experience, and from those who are dynamic, friendly and can demonstrate a high level of initiative. You will be committed to high standards of practice, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
It is important that candidates are motivated, flexible, have a level of maturity about them and of course plenty of enthusiasm. Experience working with people in a caring capacity is also essential, whether than experience is gained from within a professional environment, or from caring for children or family members. All roles include rostered rotating shifts 24/7 - incl. night shifts.
