Healthcare Assistant New Plymouth, Permanent ParttimeHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe are welcoming applications from competent and professional practitioners who will be providing caring and best practice services to our patients that puts them at the centre of everything we do.About the Team/Service/ LocationOur team of 14 Registered Nurses works closely with our Gastroenterologists and General Surgeons to provide endoscopy procedures to the Taranaki region.
Our endoscopy service runs Monday to Friday and on average will see approximately 20-30 patients through the department a day.
The RN's prepare patients for procedures and assist and monitor during procedures before the patient is transferred to our colleagues in the Day Ward for recovery.
