You'll handle scheduling, simplify communication, assist with incident reporting, and collaborate with a passionate team to deliver smart safety solutions.Key Responsibilities:Provide quality health and safety (H&S) support for staff and contractors.Assist with daily H&S tasks: managing hazards, incidents, emails, data entry, ACC, and EDRMS.Support the H&S Advisor and Manager with SOPs, MSDSs, and SWMS as needed.Take and distribute H&S Committee meeting minutes promptly.Organise initiatives to improve staff H&S outcomes.Report hazards and incidents to the H&S team.Process purchase orders and invoices as requested.Ensure H&S training is up-to-date and recorded in MySafety.Schedule and coordinate H&S training sessions.Maintain a calendar of H&S deliverables and notify relevant teams.Manage MySafety (H&S system) and Eva Check-in requirements.Minimum Requirements:NCEA Level 2 or equivalent.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).Current driver's license.Ideally 4–5 years of Health and Safety administration experience.Strong customer service and communication skills.Positive, friendly, and discreet when handling sensitive matters.Accurate data entry and good keyboard skills.Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and work methodically.Flexible and cooperative team player.This role is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) where you will be based at the Central Post Office in Napier.
