This is an exceptionally exciting opportunity to be a part of and with the ability to make this role your own.ResponsibilitiesThe Health, Safety & Business Continuity Manager’s key responsibilities will include the following:Responsible for working with Operations Excellence team to deliver the Supply Chain strategy for employee safety, including safety related aspects of health and environment, within the countryImplement safety framework and standards for country within the Supply Chain Division and be responsible for the consistent application of these standards in every operationProvide leadership, direction, and support for the country safety teamsEnsure Health & Safety regulatory compliance across the countryDrive the implementation (and embedding in order to secure) of Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) through the country teamsMonitor and where applicable improve Health & Safety performance to achieve key corporate Health & Safety performance vision and objectivesEnsure appropriate review of data and management information and take actions for improvement and risk mitigationLead major investigations and ensure recommendations for improvement are implementedProvide timely input to new business start-ups to ensure safe operationsDevelop the proactive cultures of both Health & Safety and Business Continuity Management across the leadership communitiesManage associated budgets and costs related to Health & Safety/Business Continuity Management for the countryRequirementsKey competencies and skills will include:5+ years in a Senior Health & Safety roleOperational experience working within the supply chain industryThis role requires a credible leader, an expert in the profession, with the skills and seniority to influence regional business stakeholdersStrong analytical skills and experience of managing budgetsTertiary qualified in H&SExcellent presentation skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsDo you have a Passion for Safety, strive to do things Right First Time, and have a Can Do attitude?
