We are seeking Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to be part of our Nursing and Midwifery Resource Team. This team is part of our internal Nursing Bureau that responds to unexpected short notice leave and periods of high demand.
You will need to be able to work rostered shifts including morning, afternoon and nights across all seven days.
The HCA role is to assist the Registered Nurse in delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients in hospital. This position involves working under the direction of nursing teams who are committed to delivering comprehensive, quality care to patients. We also offer a variety of educational opportunities.
Applicants must have a Certificate in Health Care Assistance Level 4 (or other relevant qualification) and have current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service. You must also be entitled to work in New Zealand.
