Job Title: Health and Safety Lead Company: Air Conditioning & Electrical Services Location: Penrose, Auckland Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm) Salary: Based on experience About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Lead to join our team in Penrose.
This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm) responsible for managing all health and safety matters across the business.
You will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance, and foster a safety-centric culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Manage the company's Health and Safety obligations across all teams Develop, review, and update H&S policies in accordance with current legislation and company needs Conduct risk assessments and manage incidents and accidents Deliver training and promote safety awareness among staff Oversee PPE and safety equipment management Ensure all subcontractors comply with company safety policies Implement and lead the internal H&S team Run quarterly company-wide H&S meetings Key Competencies Strong knowledge of New Zealand H&S legislation Risk management and hazard identification skills Level 3 Health and Safety training (or equivalent) Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis Effective communicator with strong training and teamwork skills High attention to detail and commitment to safety Expected and Measurable Outcomes Timely and accurate incident reporting Safe working practices across all operations A strong, positive health and safety culture Fewer incidents and quicker response to workplace hazards How to Apply If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV to: Apply online for this role or contact Hayley for more information.
