Head of Strength, Conditioning and Athlete Development - Dilworth SchoolDilworth School is seeking to fill a full-time role as Head of Strength, Conditioning and Athlete Development. The successful candidate will lead, develop and deliver a school-wide strength and conditioning programme as well as supporting fitness and training across the school and the PE and Health Curriculum.Through a focus on supporting curriculum, teams and individuals, they will contribute to both individual students' success and the success of the overall fitness, sports and PE & Health programme at Dilworth. They will need to do some weekend and evening work.Key Responsibilities:Have a significant impact on the development and success of our sports programme.Have a significant impact on the individual development of our young athletes.Provide training, fitness strength and conditioning expertise.Qualifications:You will understand the importance of developing and educating akonga in a supportive and safe environment.You will hold expert knowledge in the field of athlete development and be passionate about this area of learning.You will enjoy coaching and guiding students and assisting in their individual development, as well as supporting wider teams and departments.You know that getting the best out of students does involve training and coaching in the evenings and weekends where necessary.You will have the skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, work as part of a team and have the ability to manage a range of basic administrative and organisational tasks.Why would you want us?We will give you the opportunity to work for a school with embedded values, a strong vision and a unique mission that strives to significantly impact the lives of young men.You will have a significant impact on akonga and be acknowledged as the strength and conditioning specialist in an environment where this discipline is respected and endorsed to enhance individual and team success.You will be given the space and resources to develop both individual programmes and capabilities within sports teams.You will be part of a wider department and community where you are encouraged to work collaboratively and share challenges and ideas.
