The Role
Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the Head of Engineering in the UK, this role will be an integral part of the Product Development Senior Leadership Team. Working across teams, supporting a culture of excellence, quality and growth will be a key focus along with providing strong technical direction for a team of 50+ through the Tribe Leads.
The role will also:
First and foremost be a Leader, comfortable with managing software product delivery, coaching teams, an agile mindset, and a clear understanding of the business’ bigger picture.
Play a pivotal role in inspiring and motivating everyone in the Product Development group to be the best they can be.
Drive change and foster a positive culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and success.
Evolve communication practices to ensure product development progress and outcomes are represented across a changing global business.
Keep a clear focus on delivery of outcomes and advocate and manage the operational requirements of a You Build It, You Run It (DevOps) model.
Connect the work we are doing to the wider business context and product strategy so that each week people leave with a feeling that their contributions made an impact.
About You
Your background in software engineering allows you to jump into the conversation, not only to challenge thinking for quality or thinking within the product constraints but also identifying areas for growth and opportunity. You’ll be a strong leader, comfortable managing software product delivery, coaching teams, budgeting, have an agile mindset, and a clear understanding of the business’ bigger picture and commercial realities.
You’ll will also bring the following:

A relevant tertiary qualification (preferred).
