About the Role As Head of Content, you'll lead and implement Kami's comprehensive content marketing strategy, creating content that generates demand, accelerates pipeline growth, builds brand awareness, and drives user engagement globally.
This role is critical in aligning our storytelling and value proposition with the evolving needs of educators, administrators, and decision-makers within the US and international K-12 markets.
Responsibilities Content Marketing Strategy: Develop and own Kami's global content strategy, ensuring impactful, targeted content that supports demand generation, lead nurturing, user retention, and advocacy efforts at every stage of the funnel.
Brand Leadership: Provide proactive, positive leadership around Kami's brand, guiding and supporting internal teams to align with messaging guidelines effectively without stifling creativity or agility.
Content Operations: Build, manage, and optimise processes for content production at scale, ensuring efficient, high-quality content creation and delivery.
Content Calendar Management : Develop and maintain a global content calendar in close collaboration with Product Marketing, aligning content initiatives with product roadmaps, feature releases, and key marketing campaigns.
Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of content creators and strategists, optimising their productivity, creativity, and impact.
Demand Generation: Collaborate closely with the Demand Generation team to ensure content strategies effectively support measurable growth in key pipeline metrics such as MQLs, SQLs, and revenue.
Thought Leadership & PR: Lead thought leadership and public relations, positioning Kami as a trusted, authoritative voice in educational technology.
Social & Community: Direct global social media and community engagement strategies to boost brand visibility, drive deep engagement, and strengthen customer loyalty.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with sales, product marketing, customer success, events, and executive leadership to tailor content to specific segments, global regions, and customer needs.
Events & Webinars: Lead the creation and delivery of strategic content for events, conferences, webinars, and workshops, aligning closely with Kami's growth objectives and customer engagement initiatives, working closely with our events team to bring it to life.
Performance Analysis & SEO: Measure, report, and optimise content effectiveness through data-driven insights, including SEO performance, regularly refining strategies based on performance metrics, market feedback, and customer behaviour.
Required Skills 5+ years managing high-performing content teams in B2B SaaS, EdTech, or similar global environments.
Demonstrated ability to create targeted, measurable, pipeline-generating content across diverse marketing channels.
Proven expertise in SEO, analytics, performance measurement, and content optimisation.
Exceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration and aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in fast-paced settings.
