What you'll be doing | Te whakamahere Waitangi Treaty Grounds is seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Development to join the executive team reporting to the Chief Executive. This rewarding and fast-paced role is vital for the organisation leading a team of managers. The Head of Commercial Development is responsible for providing the executive team and the board with the necessary commercial and strategic information and advice to achieve business objectives. As part of your role, you will have the following responsibilities: Be the commercial expert to the CE and Board, in collaboration with the CFO, to provide analysis, advice, and thought leadership on strategic, product and commercial matters and initiatives. Leading a team that provides business planning and new initiative insights to guide decision-making. You will ensure that resource and capital allocation aligns with the company's goals. Lead sales, marketing, hospitality & events, and retail teams to build and develop a solid and cohesive team. The ability to unify the team and foster exceptional thinking and technical expertise throughout the organisation is key to succeeding in this role. What you'll need to be successful | O Pukenga To excel as our Head of Commercial Development, you must be a seasoned senior commercial leader with mana and ambition. You should have a wealth of professional experience gained from various commercial roles in sizeable companies, and you should have consistently taken the lead on ideas, people, and solutions. You should have a track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies. You should have a talent for considering strategic impacts and opportunities and creating a compelling narrative to enliven analysis and reports. An enthusiastic collaborator, you are known for your determination, courage, and accountability.
