Head Of Collections & Research

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Playing a key role within the senior leadership team, the Head of Collections & Research will be accountable for all curatorial and collections initiatives and responsibilities within the Museum. They will lead, manage and co-ordinate the development and implementation of curatorial and collections strategy and work plans, and promote ease of access to the collections and the information they yield. Leading best practice will be key, as is providing outstanding levels of internal and external customer service.

Experience of museum curatorial and collections management and practice.
A reputation for inclusive and decisive leadership of professional curatorial teams.
Proven ability to lead a cohesive team and relate to staff at all levels.
An understanding of research disciplines and processes.
Effective stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
