Institutional and Business Banking (IBB) is at the heart of New Zealand’s growth engine. Our combined teams provide a depth of service and industry knowledge across numerous sectors for our customers who include government departments, major corporations and property developers, right through to franchised, SME and Agri businesses.
How will I help?Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer for IBB, you will have full accountability for ensuring that the Institutional and Business Banking Team have all of the relevant information to inform the strategic direction of the business, manage day-to-day operations, provide insights to customers, track revenue performance and manage risk appropriately.
As Head of Business Performance you will be tasked with setting data strategy and implementing a supporting information architecture relevant to IBB. You’ll lead the Business Performance team overseeing data governance and promoting the importance of data accuracy in the front line to maintain the robustness of reporting, efficiency of capital calculations and revenue management.What you will need to succeedYou will possess deep knowledge of the banking sector / financial services industry, preferably within the Business segment. You will have extensive working in the data insights and business performance space within large and complex organisations combined with a high level of senior stakeholder management
Deep understanding of how to create reporting insights that deliver targeted information to make sound decisions and a good understanding of data governance, data quality and data lineage concepts are imperative. Your passion for data visualisation and cutting-edge reporting techniques, understanding of how to mobilise multiple stakeholder groups to deliver broad strategic outcomes and proven project leadership and delivery discipline are critical in this role.
