HEAD BARISTA WANTED!

We are currently seeking a Head Barista to join our busy new restaurant team!

The Huxley, located on Bowen Street, Wellington is a modern interpretation of a public house, a modern bar and eatery offering cutting-edge casual food and drink. The perfect place to catch up with friends and colleagues in the sun.

Our food is fast and fresh. We pride ourselves on dedication and commitment to source the best seasonal foods.

The ideal candidates for this role will:

Will boast 3+ years Barista experience. Can demonstrate experience in running a cafe with 50+kgs of coffee volume each week. Can design systems and processes that promote safe and efficient production Will have managed a busy cafe/coffee team. Will have managed cafe / coffee inventory. Maintains a safe and happy work environment. Managed and maintained coffee equipment. Ideally, hold an LCQ certificate.
